About us

DUO MOUSEÎON

The Paris-based duo composed of pianists Mariia Esaulova and Narek Galoyan was created in 2018. Both are individual winners of piano competitions and holders of the Artiste Diploma from the École Normale de Musique de Paris with honors and congratulations from the jury. They met in 2017 at the Conservatoire de Rueil-Malmaison inthe class of Rena Shereshevskaya(also teacher of Lucas Debargue, Remi Geniet and Alexandre Kantorow).

Since its creation the duo hasregularly given recitals in France and Russia. They have performed at the Cap Ferret Music Open Festival and the "Les Petits Fugues d'Épinal", FIMU Belfort and other festivals.

Duo Mouseîon has won several international competitions, including:


  • Danubia Talents International Music competition (Grand Prix),
  • The North International Music Competition (First Prize),
  • Concours Musical de France (First Prize),
  • Concours International de Léopold Bellan (Grand Prix).

The name Mouseîon pays homage to the ancient Greek sanctuary of the Muses.

Mariia Esaulova


Having graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory with excellence, Mariiacompleted her post-graduate degree at the École Normale de Musique de Paris and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. She has won several international competitions: the Rachmaninov International Music Competition, the Window on Europe International Competition and the Rotary International Music Competition.

Narek Galoyan


A former student of the Komitas Conservatoire in Yerevan, Narek obtained his artiste diplomas from the École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot and the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris. He won the Grand Prix at the Alexandre Spendiaryan National Competition and the Renaissance International Competition.
